Recent results on the analyzing powers in deuteron–proton elastic and proton-proton quasi-elastic scattering obtained at the Nuclotron Internal Target Station are presented. The angular dependencies of the deuteron analyzing powers A&sub(y), A&sub(yy) and A&sub(xx) in deuteron–proton elastic scattering in the energy range 400–1800 MeV demonstrate the sensitivity to the short-range spin structure of the isoscalar nucleon–nucleon correlations. The data on the beam analyzing power in proton–proton quasi-elastic scattering can be used to improve the phase-shift analysis at high energies. Further perspectives of the spin physics program and spin techniques development are discussed
