In the NJL quark model, the elements of constructing a Lagrangian for strange scalar mesons based on the effective four-quark interaction, motivated by quantum chromodynamics are presented. The meson mass spectrum is calculated, and numerical estimates of the model parameters are given. The NJL Lagrangians are used to calculate the main strong decays of scalar mesons. Theoretical predictions for the production of scalar mesons by the *t lepton current are obtained.
