Estimating Neutrino Energy for the NOvA 3-Flavor Analysis : Abstract / A.Kalitkina // Физика элементарных частиц и атомного ядра. Письма. – 2025. – Т. 22, № 5. – P. 1021. – URL: https://www1.jinr.ru/Pepan_letters/panl_2025_5/42_Kalitkina_ann_utf.pdf. – NOvA is an accelerator-based neutrino oscillation experiment. Using Fermilab’s megawattcapable NuMI beam and two functionally identical tracking calorimeter detectors, muon (anti)neutrino disappearance and electron (anti)neutrino appearance are studied. Accurate energy estimation is vital to make good measurements of oscillation parameters, since oscillations are a function of neutrino energy. NOvA has specialized estimators for both muon-like and electron-like neutrino events. In this paper, the latest 3-flavor analysis estimators will be presented.
