Search for a Dark Baryon in the *X*- *> *p*- + Invisible Decay / M.Ablikim, O.Bakina, I.Boyko, D.Dedovich, I.Denysenko, P.Egorov, A.Guskov, Y.Nefedov, A.Sarantsev, A.Zhemchugov, [a.o.]. – Text : electronic // Physics Letters B. – 2026. – Vol. 872. – P. 140099. – URL: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.physletb.2025.140099. – Bibliogr.: 41.
A search for a dark baryon is performed for the first time in the two-body decay *X &sup(−) *> *p&sup(−) + invisible using (10.087 *{ 0.044) × 10&sup(9) 𝐽∕*q events collected at a center-of-mass energy of *% 𝑠 = 3.097GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. No significant signal is observed, and the 90% (95%) confidence level upper limits on the branching fraction B(*X&sup(−) *> p&sup(−) + invisible) are determined to be 4.2 × 10&sup(−5) (5.2 × 10&sup(−5)), 6.9 × 10&sup(−5) (8.4 × 10&sup(−5)), 6.5 × 10&sup(−4) (7.6 × 10&sup(−4)), 1.1 × 10&sup(−4) (1.3 × 10&sup(−4)) and 4.5 × 10&sup(−5) (5.5 × 10&sup(−5)), under the dark baryon mass hypotheses of 1.07GeV∕𝑐&sup(2), 1.10GeV∕𝑐&sup(2), 𝑚*L (1.116GeV∕𝑐&sup(2)), 1.13GeV∕𝑐&sup(2) , and 1.16GeV∕𝑐&sup(2) , respectively. The constraints obtained on the Wilson coefficients 𝐶&sup(𝐿)&sub( &sub(𝑢𝑠,𝑠) and 𝐶&sup(𝑅)&sub(𝑢𝑠,𝑠) are more stringent than the previous limits derived from the LHC searches for the colored mediators.
