We present a detailed study of the forward–backward asymmetry in the Drell–Yan process, using a leading-order perturbative QCD calculation within the collinear factorization scheme, including the effects of *g/Z&sup(0) boson exchange. We analyze Q and QT dependence and compare theoretical predictions with available data from the CMS collaboration at the LHC
