The results of accelerated heat-ageing tests of the tellurium-loaded plastic scintillator are introduced. The dependence of light yield on temperature is discussed. The lifetime of polystyrenebased plastic scintillator has been evaluated to be (3.8 ± 0.2 (syst.) ± 0.1 (stat.)) and (7.6 ± 0.4 (syst.) ± 0.1 (stat.)) y under normal conditions according to the change in the light yield by 10 or 20% of the initial value of the parameter.
