New ternary cluster mode in binary fission is suggested. This abnormal binary decay is characterized by a much lower total kinetic energy, a much higher excitation energy of heavy fission fragment and, thus, a larger neutron multiplicity. Employing this mode, one can describe the 8–11 neutron evaporation channels for Ba+Mo and Ce+Zr pairs in spontaneous fission of &sup(252)Cf.
