Evidence for the *h&sub(c)(2S) *> *p*+*p*-*h Decay / M.Ablikim, O.Bakina, I.Boyko, G.Chelkov, D.Dedovich, I.Denysenko, P.Egorov, A.Guskov, Y.Nefedov, S.Pogodin, A.Sarantsev, A.Zhemchugov, [et al.] // Physical Review D [Electronic resource]. – 2023. – Vol.107, No.5. – P. 052007. – URL: https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.107.052007. – Bibliogr.: 56.
The decay *h&sub(c)(2𝑆) *> *p*+*p*-*h is searched for through the radiative transition *q(3686) *> *g*h&sub(c)(2S) using 448 million *q(3686) events accumulated at the BESIII detector. The first evidence of *h&sub(c)(2S) *> *p*+*p*-*h is found with a statistical significance of 3.5*s. The product of the branching fractions of *q(3686) *> *g*h&sub(c)(2S) and *h&sub(c)(2S) *> *p*+*p*-*his measurd to be B&sub(*G)(*f(3686) *> *g*h&sub(c)(2S)) x B&sub(*G)(*h&sub(c)(2C) *> *p*p*-*h) = 2.97 *( 0.81 *( 0.26) x 10*-*6, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second one is systematic. The branching fraction of the decay *h&sub(c)(2S) *> *p*p-*h is determined to be B&sub(*G)(*h&sub(c)(2S) *> *p*+*p*-*h) = 43.4 *( 11.6 *( 3.8 *( 30.3) x 10*-*4, where the third uncertainty is transferred from the uncertainty of the branching fraction of *q(3686) *> *g*h&sub(c)(2S)
