This paper describes the methodology and data preprocessing results of a micro-SPECT system with a field of view of 57 mm x 57 mm. The preprocessing can significantly reduce noise that affects image reconstruction. The tomographic spatial resolution calculated using phantoms is. 2.5 mm. System alignment and accurate geometric positioning allow to increase significantly the system spatial resolution. – (AIP Conference Proceedings ; Vol. 2726) .
