The SPD (Spin Physics Detector) is a spin physics experiment to be held in the second interaction point of the NICA collider at JINR. Sampo is a Gaudi-based software framework for the SPD experiment, which will be used for the full chain of HEP experiment data processing: from generation and simulation up to reconstruction and physics analysis. We briefly present the general design of Sampo and describe in detail the integration of the Geant4 toolkit.
