Silicon Tracking Station with a Streaming Readout as a Part of the BM@N Tracking System : [Abstract] / D.Dementev, D.Andreev, A.Kolozhvari, V.Leontyev, Yu.Murin, A.Sheremetev, M.Shitenkov // Физика элементарных частиц и атомного ядра. – 2026. – Т. 57, № 3. – P. 331. – URL: https://doi.org/10.1134/S1063779625701424.
A new silicon tracking station has been developed and integrated into the BM@N experiment at the Nuclotron in order to improve track reconstruction efficiency for particles produced at midrapidity. The station is based on CBM–BM@N type modules equipped with double-sided silicon strip detectors and a streaming readout system utilizing STS/MUCH-XYTER ASICs. Each module provides high spatial resolution and reliable performance under high-multiplicity collision conditions, while maintaining a minimal material budget through usage of light (0.23 X0) microcables for the signal transmission from the detector to the front-end electronics. In-beam tests with a 1 GeV proton beam confirmed a spatial resolution of ~15 *mm, time resolution of 9.9 ns, and detection efficiency above 99%. These results validate the design and readiness of the system for operation as part of the upgraded BM@N tracking setup
