Symplectic symmetry approach to clustering (SSAC) in the atomic nucleus is generalized for the more general multicluster nuclear systems. In the limiting case when 𝐴&sub(1) = 𝐴&sub(2) =…= 𝐴&sub(k) = 4 one obtains a microscopic counterpart within the SSAC of the wide class of various multi-𝛼-particle cluster models. As an example, the new microscopic approach is applied to the 4𝛼 cluster nuclear system of &sup(16)O. A good description for the excited states in the lowest 𝐾&sup(*p) = 0&sup(+)&sub(1) , 𝐾&sup(*p) = 0&sup(+)&sub(2) , 𝐾&sup(*p) = 0*sup(−)&sub(1) , 𝐾&sup(*p) = 2&sup(+)&sub(1) , 𝐾&sup(*p) = 3&sup(−)&sub(1) and 𝐾&sup(*p) = 1&sup(−)&sub(1) bands in &sup(16)O with experiment, as well as for the experimentally known 𝐵(𝐸2) low-energy transitions without the use of an effective charge, is obtained.
