In the FOBOS group (FLNR JINR), the induced fission of fission fragments (FFs) in the shape isomer states was observed for the first time. As part of a project dedicated to this phenomenon, both the mechanism of FF break-up and the characteristics of the reaction products are studied. The most promising experiments were performed at the MT-25 microtron at FLNR.
