We study the exclusive semileptonic decays *U(1S) *> B&sub((c))l*n^-&sub(l), where l=e, *m, *t. The relevant hadronic form factors are calculated using the covariant confined quark model developed previously by our group. We predict the branching fractions B(*U(1S) *> B&sub((c))l*n^-&sub(l) to be of the order of 10*-*1*3 and 10&sup(−10) for the case of B and B&sub(c), respectively. Our predictions agree well with other theoretical calculations. We also consider the effects of possible new physics in the case of *U(1S) *> B&sub(c)*t*n^-&sub(*t) and show that the branching fraction of this decay can be enhanced by an order of magnitude using constraints from the B *> D&sup((* ))l*n^-&sub(l) and B&sub(c) *> J/ψl*n^-&sub(l) experimental data.
